Training Program

Tuesdays at 5:30 PM

Kick-off Event: Tubby Smith, U of MN Men's Head Basketball Coach, will be the keynote speaker at the HealthEast Heart of Summer Training Clinic Kickoff.

Tubby will promote the benefits of an active lifestyle in the prevention of heart disease. Free health screens available.

Training Clinics: The training clinic provides an opportunity to help you achieve a more physically active lifestyle. The 11-week training clinics are designed for individuals who have inactive lifestyles or those who want to increase their endurance.

Clinics meet weekly and include presentations, health tips and training schedules to meet individual goals.

Location: Como Park Picnic Shelter, in St. Paul

Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation's Women on the Move Walk/Run Training Clinic
June 3 - July 22, 2009
Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8:00 PM

Where you find motivation and support to stay physically active.

Weekly sessions include an educational interactive presentation and a physical activity session outdoors around Lake Nokomis.
