Training Program

Tuesdays at 5:30 PM

Training Clinics: The training clinic provides an opportunity to help you achieve a more physically active lifestyle. The 11-week series is designed for individuals who have inactive lifestyles or those who want to increase their endurance. These clinics are for walkers, beginners, established runners and everyone in between.

Clinics meet weekly and include presentations, health tips and training schedules to meet individual goals. Heart risk factor  screening will be available on May 11 and July 20.

Location: Como Park Picnic Shelter, in St. Paul

Moms on the Run
5K/10K Training Program
April - July
Dates and Times will vary by location

About the Program: Classes offer interval training with a focus on cardiovascular fitness and fat-burning.  A gradual progression in the beginner training program makes it great for moving from walking to running, and a speed interval program for intermediates helps them to improve their speed. 

The 10K option begins in June and requires participants to be able to already jog 2 miles by the start date. Class includes weekly nutrition challenges and encouragement for lifestyle changes.
